Autoblogger Pro, Content Theft Or Innovation?

Autoblogger Pro, Content Theft Or Innovation?

First of all, there may be some of you that have never even heard of Autoblogger Pro. So let's examine this new script. Autoblogger Pro is really a very simple concept. First of all, there may be some of you that have never even heard of Autoblogger Pro. So let's examine this new script. Autoblogger Pro is really a very simple concept. It integrates itself into a Wordpress blog and then uses RSS feeds from news sources and blogs to populate the blog with relevant content. For example, if you want to build a blog that focuses on 'Mortgages' then you would simply locate several blog or news feeds that focus on mortgages and then load them into the admin area of the script. Every time the script is executed it will then pull in the RSS feed from all of the sites you've entered, and post them to the blog. In essence, you end up with a blog that contains highly targeted content, blended and unique because it comes from a variety of sources. All maintained by you with the click of a button! (A sample ABP blog can be seen here: http://www.dogs.pn )

Let me say this now. I am an advocate of Autoblogger Pro and I think that it's a fantastic and logical development of the expected use of RSS feeds. It's evolution people, and I think it's fantastic!

But this morning I was surfing the web and I happened to do a search for Autoblogger Pro to see what other people were saying. To my shock and dismay I found many sites screaming that Autoblogger Pro users are 'content thieves' , 'content RAPISTS', 'Scam artists' etc. I found this very disturbing, so I researched a few of their websites to see if their content was in some way being actually stolen. To be honest, I really had to laugh when I looked at most of their sites. Prominently displayed on all of them were buttons for their various RSS feeds, asking for syndication!

What exactly did you expect when you put that feed on your site? RSS is defined as Really Simple Syndication. So aren't you asking that your content be syndicated when you put the feed link on your website??? Of course you are. Either they are too uneducated to understand what RSS is and put it on their sites without knowing what it is, or they are just ignorant or naïve and believe that only a few people with news readers will use the feed.

There's a very simple solution for this if you're one of those people crying foul. TAKE THE FEED DOWN. If you don't want your content syndicated, don't put up a feed!

Now there are some responsibilities that must be held by users of Autoblogger Pro, it's a very powerful script, and there are options to use it unethically. When syndicating someone's content you need to give CREDIT to the source. Remember writing term papers in college or high school? You always have to give credit to your sources. Autoblogger Pro gives you the option in it's configuration to give credit and a link back to every post you get from syndication. USE THIS FEATURE. It's only right to give credit where credit is due. If this is done properly, all of those blogs you're getting your content from will stay happy, because they are in turn getting quality links back to their site, from another relevant site, and that in turn helps them in their search engine standings. It may even send them some traffic if your Autoblogger Pro site has some.

Like it or not, syndication of content is what RSS was designed for. If you don't like how your content is being syndicated, don't put up a feed. But if you see the positives for content syndication you'll understand that Autoblogger Pro sites will enhance your site, not detract from it. In the long run you'll be glad to see your content in tons of places on the web!

Different Keywords for Different Folks in Home Business

Different Keywords for Different Folks in Home Business

Word Count:
682

Summary:
In Google adwords, the better option is to bid on a larger number of mediocre or niche keywords. Using the proper tools available for finding the necessary keyword data like searches done, google bids, etc definitely helps to a very great extent. These are big steps you will take towards improved trafiic and sales.

Keywords:
keywords,traffic,google,home business,internet business

Article Body:
Whether it's a home business or an internet business opportunity you have to have traffic to your site to see a sale. We have all heard of auctions haven't we? The highest bidder takes home the loot. In an auction, the bid price depends on the perceived value of the product on offer, the number of bidders present as well as the paying power of the bidders present. In a PPC campaign for Google Adwords also, the same rules apply. It's the law of supply and demand that ultimately governs it all. The keywords that fetch the most traffic are also the costliest ones. Keywords like 'home business' and 'internet home business' are costly because of the large number of searches being done on the same. So what do you do if you want to bid on one of these keywords? Well the answer is simple. There are 2 options:

1) Bid on them provided you have an army of staff working on it to see that you are not outbid and to take care of all the negative keywords that you will have to churn out in order to filter all the irrelevant search phrases being done of which they are a part. And they are going to be costlier too! And if you bid low on them, you're never going to be seen.
(Or)
2) Bid on a larger number of mediocre or lower traffic keywords that cost far less but are more targeted by the way. Bid on nothing less than 200 or 300 keywords like that. The total traffic should add up to something substantial.

So how do you determine the traffic potential of these keywords? Well, you have many keyword analysis tools that can help you with this. Some of them are 'Keywords Analyzer, Adwords Analyzer, Wordtracker, etc. Feed in a generic term like 'home business' or 'internet business' and it will give you related terms being searched for. Then you can go in for more advanced searches for each of them. This is very helpful. You have arrays of data on number of searches done the last month for each of those keywords, the number of results returned, the number of Google campaigns for each as also for the other major search engines, the Google bids(maximum bids) and so on. This is very useful information that will help you in narrowing down on the right keywords to promote your home business or internet business opportunity.

Once identified, optimize your home business website to include these words. It would help to a great extent if you can try and get links to your site from other sites with these keywords in the anchor text. Get as many as possible like this. This should improve your ranking in Google if done right.

If after that, you now go ahead and run a Google adwords PPC campaign on these keywords with your ad title & ad body optimized for these words(including your H tags and title) you should start to see results and traffic to your site. Remember that Google adwords campaigns have to be improved over time through continuous trial and error. Start off with 2 or 3 ads for related keyword groups and then compare and contrast while Google rotates these ads for you. If you feel that a keyword is not suited for one ad, cut and paste it to the other one or delete it if it's useless or write an entirely new relevant ad that accommodates it and continue testing. This is a surefire way to boost your click through rates (CTRs) to the sky. Ultimately you should end up with one ad that has all the right ingredients. It takes time, but once you are through, it's gonna make you money for ever. You can also expand to other search engines like Yahoo, Miva or Overture and multiply your returns. Well that's entirely up to you.

Are you Starving for Success?

Are you Starving for Success?

Word Count:

Summary:
"If you don't design your own life plan, chances are you'll fall into someone else's plan. And guess what they may have planned for you? Not much."
 -– Jim Rohn

I couldn't say it much better than Mr. Rohn.  I have been working in network marketing/mlm for years now.  and I know there is one factor that makes or breaks "the deal" for anyone who wants to earn a living outside of the conventional 9-5 Job.

Keywords:

Article Body:
This is something I learned from a guy in Louisiana. I worked with him in a different business way back when...

I learned a ton from this guy whether he knew it or not...it's too bad he is not successful in business yet, because he really has some good insight.

I brought it up that you need to want success...want a business that will earn you profits.

We spoke of hobbies, and how we need to treat our business like a business! and how a hobby never pays the bills, they only cost money.

SO WHAT'S THE SECRET?

It all comes back to having that "dream" or a reason why. But it's more than that...

It's hunger; you need to be hungry. Be starving for success. You know when you can't focus on anything else except that need to eat? You start getting the shakes and you need it. Now bring that feeling and transfer it to your business.

So you need to be hungry. And the insight that this young guy had was a one liner, and picture this in a Louisiana accent; "well there are times you could eat...but you are not necessarily 'hungry'." well how huge is that?!?

I say it all the time, that I learn from you guys as much as you learn from me! That was one of those AHA moments.

Of course, we could all eat a little bit of success, but are we hungry?

So, now every time I look at my business and think to myself "it's just not growing as fast as I want" (which, if you are like me, is never fast enough). I need to ask, "am I still hungry?" And every single time I can answer no. I have become comfortable where I am at.

This brings me to another quote. "Success is found outside our comfort zone." Think about that! If you want to be better than you are now, you need to look beyond yourself and expand. Whether it be physically, mentally, spiritually or financially. You need to stretch yourself beyond where you are now.

So if you are having a tough time getting into action; you look at yourself in the mirror and ask if you just need a bite of success, or if you want the 5 course meal!

So this week:
-Get hungry!
-Dream big!
-Develop your WHY!
-Be starving for success!

To our success,

How To Use Pop-Up's Effectively To Generate More Profits!

How To Use Pop-Up's Effectively To Generate More Profits!

Word Count:
742

Summary:
This simple but effective technique involves the use of Pop-Up's on your website that will follow-up and produce more profits from your leads.

Article Body:
What I'm about to explain to you will change to way you do your online marketing Today, Tomorrow and Years to come with little effort on your part.

This simple But effective technique involves the use of a 'Pop-Up' on your website, but, the difference between this technique and just a standard 'Pop-Up' or 'Exit Pop-Up' as we all see them is that when your potential prospects see them they are more then willing to give you there Name and Email address.

Why you ask?

Because your offering them something of Value for FREE.

As you well know the word 'Free' is one of the most Powerful words on the internet when used correctly and when combined with an 'Pop-Up'... it could make you alot of extra money with little effort.

As a marketer myself, a simple Name and Email Address is worth hundreds, if not thousands of extra dollars a year if I collect and follow-up my leads properly, but, the questions that always seem to arise are...

...How do I do it? ...What steps do I need to take?

So... now that I have your attention, let me explain to you how this can be achieved in a simple 'Step-By-Step' fashion.

Step #1:

What do you have that you can give away to your visitors as they leave your website that is of value to your visitor and more importantly, will benefit from?(Here's a hint... Free Reports, eBooks, eCourses, etc.)

(Note: Give away brandable ebooks, reports, etc. with your affiliate links embedded within them. Make sure they're related to the subject of the content.)

Step #2:

Once you've figured out what your going to give away, put together some ad copy for your 'Pop-Up' that your going to build that will grab your visitors attention and get them to sign-up for your 'Free Offer' or 'Give Away' as they leave your website.

(Note: You don't have write alot, just a few attention grabbing sentences pointing out the 'Benefits' of your offer.)

Step #3:

Write a short Solo. You need this because after they sign-up through your web-form from your pop-up, this is what they will receive in there Inbox with either download info or other instructions that you specify in order for them to receive there Report, eBook, eCourse, etc.

(Note: Also, make sure you attach a 'Signature File' at the end of your Solo. Many marketer's forget this part and are losing out on alot of extra profits. Don't Forget!)

Step #4:

You need to go to your 'Auto-responder' management console and set-up an seperate auto-responder with the solo you wrote for your 'Free Offer' and/or 'Give Away'.

Once you've set your auto-responder its now time for you to copy the HTML code for your auto-responder's Web-Form and paste it into the 'Pop-Up' you just put together.

(Note: Auto-responder services may very. Simply follow there directions.)

Step #5:

This is the easy part, once you have completed all of the other steps, simply paste your 'Pop-Up' code into your desired webpage(s).

If you use pop-up software that creates and automatically inserts the code for you simply select the webpage you want the code to be placed on and the software will do the rest.

Now simply upload your newly formatted webpage and pop-up to your host and start sending it Traffic!

As a general rule, test out your pop-up for your first week a see how it pulling. You may need to tweek it if its not performing to your stardards. All it takes is just a few words to be changed to make your pop-up a success.

That's it... your Done!

These are the 5 basic steps needed to turn your website into an fully 'Automated Sales Machine' that will automatically follow-up your leads 24/7/365 without you lifting a finger.

It may take a little time to set-up initially, but it'll be worth it in the long run.

Now, I just have one last tip for you.

If you really want to get the most out of your Pop-Up and the leads it brings in simply load-up your already set-up 'Auto-Responder' with 6 or 7(or however many you want) follow-up emails and set them to go out every 3 to 4 weeks.

For maximum results make sure that you target the particular Product or Service you are offering or promoting because it makes no sense to offer a Product or Service that doesn't relate to what your initial offer was that they signed up for.

Finding "The Secret" can cost you.

Finding "The Secret" can cost you.

Word Count:
1071

Summary:
Finding the so called secret to internet marketing can cost you a lot of time and money that could be spent putting together and running an online venture now.

Keywords:

Article Body:

Over the years I have found that online marketing and off line marketing are very similar in some ways and very different in others.

In the offline "brick and mortor" world most business owners will tell you that the three most important things to running a successful and profitable business are, location, location, location.

In the online arena I will tell you that the three most important factors are, Focus, Focus, Focus.

From owning and operating online ventures myself over the years, as well as speaking to hundreds of others in our field it is clear that the number one reason for new marketers to fail or to take much longer than others to succeed is simply a lack of focus.

The typical scenario is pretty much the same for almost everyone including myself, yes, I have "been there and done that" and it goes

something like this.

We come online and for a year or two we go through the indoctrination of all the get rich quick schemes and hopping from one hyped up something for nothing program to another, and following the advice from the e-books that we paid good money for. (which of course we now know were outdated, and free somewhere online) and we start trying to find "The Secret".

After which that time is spent with no results we become desperate to prove to our friends and family (who cant help but snicker at you a little) that this "internet thing" works.

So, how do we go about it ? Well we copy one of the hoaky programs that we were suckered into, or one of the e-books that are sitting on our virtual shelves collecting cyber-dust, you know, the ones that had "The Secret"

The secret to internet sales. The secret to building lists. The secret words that hypnotize. The super duper secret to make Any website a sales machine. And on and on, and decide to sell them ourselves, knowing full well that they are junk, so much for our integrity.

We put up our first free hosted purple and yellow webpage with our latest and greatest program or e-book along with several flashing graphics of fireworks and dancing horses and twenty five or thirty banners of varying sizes and offers and begin to submit the site to all of the automatic submitters that promise to send your advertisment to the world with one click.

We also figure that since we recieve so many offers through email that we will capitalize on that strategy ourselves.

Our first real business expense comes when we purchase one of the "secret" weapons, The Group Mailer. Next, we will buy the $15.00 email list of 5 million ready to buy customers, load them into the group mailer and with one push of the send button, we are all set and just need to wait for the money to roll in.

Of course what rolled in was spam complaints, and being banned by the search engines, and losing our ISP's. I guess it's just a right of passage or something for new online marketers because regardless how many times I explain this scenario to new people and advise them that there is a better way they inevitably just have to go ahead and try the way that wastes their time and their money and generally leaves them humiliated and cynical about trying to earn income online.

After this initiation most of us remember that somewhere along the line while in some online forum like the Net Marketing Forum or an online conference room, there had been this voice, someone saying that they had done exactly what you had just done, someone that was now a mentor, and now they were successful and would not mind helping you to do the same, provided that you could swallow your pride and put yourself on the line with some real focused effort to follow their guidence and to become self-disiplined and stay on track and to Not Quit. Failure is not an option.

If you are smart you will leap at this chance because the fact of the matter is that you Can Not be successful on your own by yourself online.

As a mentor myself my first bit of advice to new people, especially the ones that have gone through the scenario above is to Forget "The Secret" there is no secret.

Marketing online is Not Easy. It takes self disipline, time management, tenacity, consistancy, persistancy. It takes knowing what you want from an online business, when do you want it? and knowing that there will be sacrifice on your part both with your money and your time in order to get what you want.

It would take much more than this simple article to explain even the very basics, but ther are places online such as the affiliate classroom that will explain everything that you need to know.

After deciding that this is really for you I would suggest taking these steps:

Pick something that you really have a passion or special talent for that you would not mind doing or sharing for free. Find the tools and knowledge you will need in order to profit from it. Make a plan and set aside specific times during the day to follow the plan and nothing else, focus, focus, focus. Set short term and long term goals and announce them to someone, preferably an online mentor, and give them your permission to push you to reach each goal.

Focus, focus, focus, while online and do not get drawn off track from your work by clicking on the new latest and greatest super duper "secret" we already know how much time and money they waste.

Take baby steps or "chunk it out" as I like to call it with your projects and you will accomplish a lot more than trying to put everything together at once.

Learn what you need to know When you need to know it. You cant learn everything so dont try, you will only get information overload and when that happens, Everything shuts down.

Treat your new venture as a business and decide what you would want a good employee to do if they were running your business and then You do it, or fire yourself and go look for another job.

As I said, marketing online is Not Easy, but it is simple. Just focus, focus, focus

An Online Millionaire Plan: Basics of Earning Millions Online Through Internet Marketing

An Online Millionaire Plan: Basics of Earning Millions Online Through Internet Marketing

Word Count:
553

Summary:
You can make millions online, really, actually. But the first steps are very basics ones. You have to know what money actually is, and you have to be set up to earn it - all of which comes before you even offer a product. Here are some very, very basic basics for you...

Keywords:
internet marketing, make money, make money online, online, money, earn money, business, ecommerce, article marketing, marketing, work from home

Article Body:
How to get started

First off, some points about money. People pay money, a valuable, in exchange for a product or service you provide - another valuable. It's really barter, with a commodity called money. People buy things which will improve their lives, which gives them some benefit they feel they need. You aren't really in it for the money, but to provide better service to people so that they can improve their lives. That's a perfect fit - they want to spend money to improve their lives and you are more than happy to accept money to enable them to do so - with your product and services.

Money is really just an indicator of how much you provide real service to others - and how valuable they think that service is. We've gone over how you can increase your income by giving it away, as well.

Now, down to the brass tacks of what to do when and why.

Before we start -

Don't quit your day job. Rome wasn't built in a day, God took seven to create this world - so don't figure you are going to become a millionaire overnight. I've heard some talented people got rich in 90 days, but we'll take the conservative approach here.

Until your Internet activities start bringing income to you, that day job will be providing the seed money for your online business.

Consider all your online activites a second job. This is much better than going to get a second job at some company. Then you are spending 60 hours a week just working for a fixed wage - away from your family and giving a large proportion of it to the government and insurance companies with very little return.

So your online business is your second job. Set it up with a specific workplace and a schedule. Treat it like a business, not a hobby. Show up on time and ready to work - not late and hung over or taking constant breaks for food - or having the TV running so you can "catch the game". Arrange for your spouse and kids to keep the noise down - or set up your garage so it is comfortable all year round and you can easily work there with no distractions. (Remember, setting this up as an actual business means you can deduct these expenses from your "day job" income tax.)

Work out your finances. See if you can get by on only 80% of what you currently earn in income from your day job. Means you are going to have to set up a budget and find out what you are spending your money on. Or - you could simply have your check deposited directly, 80% going into your checking account and 20% going into your savings account (preferably) or another account.

What you do with that 20% is to set half away for savings - never touch this for anything except, perhaps, a real emergency. The other half (10% of your income after taxes) goes to investment. This is what you are allowed to spend on your online business. But the idea again is that you are investing in your own business - not just blowing it on nice stuff for your home office.

Once you have your home business set up, you are then - an only then - ready to really start in on Internet Marketing, Sales, and Delivery.

An Introvert's Survival Guide to Marketing

Have you ever walked into a networking event full of strangers and wished you could be anywhere else?

Traditional "business building rules" tell us that we need to network. Attending a charity breakfast where you give a 2-minute spiel on your business, community luncheon where you eat rubber chicken and another cocktail hour where you feel like you're on a speed date going from business owner to business owner with barely enough time to remember their names, much less make a great impression.

It doesn't have to be that way!

Years ago, while deeply involved in "Corporate America" (I still shudder when saying that phrase), I took the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator – a personality assessment.  My fears were confirmed: I am an introvert (actually, an "ISTJ" for those of you familiar with the Myers-Briggs).  High level summary introverts are people who recharge their energy from within while extroverts get energy from people and other external sources.  I am one of those people who draws energy and ideas from solitude and reaching within my own psyche.

Depending on the situation, everyone is both an introvert and an extrovert.  Put me in a room with some of my friends and I take on the persona of a stand-up comedian.  Put me in a large conference room where I know nobody and am not presenting and I become the silent wallflower.

Given the choice, I prefer to be with a few close friends rather than at a large party where I know no one.  While I've been told I'm an excellent public speaker (birth by fire in the corporate world does wonders), it takes a lot of energy for me to get  "in the zone" and I have learned to do this by being well-prepared on the topic and discussing things I'm passionate about.

The following marketing techniques are some that I have used successfully and are designed to work for the introverted among us.

1.  Participate in online forums and discussion groups.

It's easy to be authentic and true to yourself while marketing your business by participating on online forums such as Yahoo Groups.  You can spend as much or as little time getting to know the other small business owners, virtual assistants, etc. as you wish.  There is no face to face,  "will they like me?", "will they trust me?" type of feeling. You can take your time in responding to those issues that interest you, rather than feel "on the spot" like you may at your average networking event.

I belong to several such groups and have met many wonderful people this way and have learned much from different business owners. It's a great way to pick the brains of people in the same situation as yourself.

2.  Write articles.

Take advantage of your writing skills and write and submit articles online.  One of my clients was doing some research for her business and told me she'd seen one of my articles on . The next day I received a notice from  (a small business site) asking permission to use another of my articles.  As a direct result of my writing articles, I now have an audience that I may have never otherwise reached.  You never know what search engines just might pick up on your article, or how your information could be valuable to someone else.

3.  Know your strengths.

Successful marketing requires that you know your strengths and your weaknesses.  Take time to ask friends, family, and others what they feel are your greatest strengths and weaknesses.  You might be surprised to discover that what you thought wasn't a talent is perceived as such by others.  When you find yourself in an uncomfortable or nerve-wracking situation, focus on your strengths.  You will be naturally more at ease when discussing something that's aligned with your passions and that you have learned is valuable to others.

4.  Visualization.

Have you ever thought about something so much that when it actually happened it felt like déjà vu?  Visualization is a great tool that allows you to script out an event before it happens.  Just think – you can anticipate the challenges (for example, no one speaks to you when you arrive) and plan how to overcome them before they occur.  Plan ahead for various situations and scenarios to avoid being caught off guard.

5.  Stick to your values.

It's important not to try and change yourself in order to successfully market your business.  You will be most effective when you allow the natural you to come through.  For those of us who are introverts, that means establishing a marketing plan and environment that supports us as well as follows the path by which we mean to grow with.

Go get 'em!

Right now anyone who has a writing talent  or is aspiring to be a author has written a blog in the net. There are blog softwares that are simple and easy to use and a technically minded and challenged individuals can effortlessly obtain a blog online.

For a few people , blogs are their projects of every day life, as they chat about their daily episodes as well as pay tribute to friends and family. In addition, blogs assume a deep meaning written to compose and collect political statements, support a product, supply information on research, and also offer tutorials. Any subject that are of your interests, you can be sure that some person has written a blog regarding it.

Blogs are now being 'penned' by musicians, politicians, sports personalities, novelists, newscasters as well as other known figures. It is this blog fever that has raised controversy. The fact that anyone can write and in regard to any subject matter under the sun, complaints about certain write-ups are an issue. In a lot of blogs, names are often mentioned; do keep in mind that although you are allowed to write anything that interests you in a blog, you have to be very cautious and take in a lot of responsibility. Do not make any statements which can become doubtful; or else, be very prepared.

Why a blog?

1. For personal acquaintances, relationships and hobby. A person can create a blog about his daily activities, what's going on with his life as his way of informing his family and friends the things that goes on in his life. Similarly, one may also create a blog just so he can express what he feels about himself, or about a certain subject  that is of interest to him.

2. Topical. Many blogs are committed to a precise topic, lets say computer hardware or politics. These are often read like magazines.

3. For marketing.  Corporations are too, into blogging; if well written and implemented, this kind of blog can be a powerful tool for business communications, forming enthusiasm and anticipation regarding their products and services offered, or utilised as tool within the company, keeping employees up-to-date  about company issues and news.

Why someone else's software?

A lot of Web designers and creators will scoff at the belief and idea of utilizing the software of someone else. This is can be true especially when each software greatly differs from the individual requirements that a client may have. Yet on the other hand, when it refers to a Weblog software, there is no reason for concern in the use of a package that is pre-written, as most packages were developed after years of study; not just knocked together during a couple of days.

In addition, one may study its feature set. For a developer, it may take a lot of time and effort to write and compose from, nothing at all, every individual feature in the Weblog software packages of today. For most people, a blog is there for the main reason that chooses to publish or make known your literature and texts on the Web, so you would like to spend your time more on writing than coding.

Hosted Services

If one wishes to start broadcasting on the Web, yet does not have web hosting, one can consider looking into a hosted service, which includes blogger, TypePad, Live Journal, and more.

These services are operated or handled for an individual, so there is no need to concern one about technical upkeep of one's Weblog; instead, one can concentrate on his blog's appearance and content. In just minutes, after signing for an account, one can readily start his own blog.  Many such services are offered free, such as blogger.  TypePad charges a minimal amount for monthly service fee.

Self-Hosted

When one has Web hosting on hand, or is eager to buy hosting, in which one feesl that the advantage will prevail over the problems of keeping up your own blog connection and installation, then you may want to take into account a package that is self-hosted, which includes Movable Type, Textpattern and WordPress.

Other hosting companies did construct the process of installation easier, permitting installation with just a click from a control panel that is browser-based. It is important that you check with a hosting company so you can view if this function is offered. Similar to hosted services, some self hosted packages are made available either for free or for a certain fee which is dependent on the type of package that you choose as well as the basis why you are using it.

Article writing and its distribution is a way to put your site on top in goggle, to make people know about the product faster and easier. Article submission is considered to be one of the most effective ways to promote your website on the web.
"Content is the king of every website" I am sure you must have read this statement a number of times on the web. But the question you need to ask yourself here is whether just writing articles can help you increase the traffic of your website. Well I am afraid to say this but "No". Website promotion is not all about writing articles but also article distribution.
What exactly is Article Distribution?
If you are wondering what exactly article distribution is well you are at the right place to check this out. Article Distribution is all about submitting your articles to different article directories with a link pointing back to your website. Well now how does this help to derive more traffic to your website. The logic behind submitting your articles to article directories is simple. All you have to do is search for high Pr article directories on the web. One of the fine examples of an article submission directory is www.articledashboard.com. Similarly there are many like these on the web. You can find a list of such article directories by doing a search in Google with the keyword "Article Distribution" or "Article submission sites"
The article submission directories comprise of a Title, article body and a resource box. Once you register with them all you have to do is post in your article in the article body with an effective title. The resource box is specially meant to write about you i.e. the writer. However the most important feature of this resource box is that you can leave a link of your website here and invite the on lookers to view your website while they read the article you have written. The link you place in the resource box indirectly increases the back links of your website and thereby increase the traffic.
Just submitting your article to a couple of article sites will not be as effective than submitting your article to hundreds of article directories. For instance if you write one article and submit it to 1 article directory you can expect just one back link from the article directory. However if you write one article and submit it to 100 article directories you are actually getting 100's of back links for your website.
More back links is equal to excessive website traffic which is directly equal to high sales of your product.

Every successful business has an intelligent strategy, and online businesses are no different. However, given the many additional marketing avenues that the internet provides, it is easy to develop tangential campaigns that are not complimentary to your overall business strategy.

In order to reap the great benefits of the online economy, it is important to ensure that your internet marketing strategy is properly aligned with your overall business strategy. By verifying that all of your online marketing efforts compliment your corporate message, you will be able to reap the full profits of branding.

Avenues of Internet Marketing Branding

o PPC keywords and ad copy should espouse your marketing punch line.

o Online press releases are most effective if they point out the benefits of your business website, and these benefits should be congruent with what you are plugging in your messages and slogans.

o Directory articles submissions should be related to your message.

o Blog submissions should not only discuss how your product or website is new and innovative, but also reinforce your branding message.

o Email campaigns need to be handled delicately to ensure that they are not viewed as spam, but if you can include information that is value to your reader, in addition to your marketing message, this is an effective tool.

o Banner ads provide that great visual element, where you can use imagery and text to drive your message home.

o Website content is very valuable in helping the search engines increase your rankings, as well as compelling your visitors to convert through your branding message.

Stage I: Planning

After you have developed your overall business strategy, it is time to develop your internet marketing plan. The first stage of internet marketing planning begins with your domain name. The choice of domain name is critical, and it will follow your business regardless of what future marketing changes you may implement. All other marketing avenues can be changed, but your domain name cannot. Thus, choose wisely and carefully, with your business strategy in mind.

After you have selected the appropriate domain, it is time to develop the look of the website and ensure that it properly espouses your vision for the business strategy. Even the simple use of different colors may or may not compliment what you are attempting to strategically achieve.

Once you have built the fundamentals, it is now time to plan your marketing strategy. Develop your budget, research your target audience, find the right keyword and begin creating the perfect copy for your advertising campaigns. At this stage, you can experiment with different combinations of kewords, copy, and any relevant copy, as long as they are still within the bounds of your business strategy.

An effective tool to research and test your keywords is ZamDoo, an innovative PPC management software that tracks both your campaigns and your competitors' ads. ZamDoo allows you to conduct split-testing of your ads and their copy to determine the higher ROI, as well as run tests on your keywords before you have to take money out of your PPC budget.

Stage II: Monitoring

This is an incredibly critical part of your online marketing strategy, yet most often overlooked. After you have pushed the go button on your marketing campaigns, it is important to monitor what keywords, banner ads, landing pages, and ad copy are effectively yielding you a good ROI. Are there certain combinations of copy and keywords that are generating you the most conversions?

Managing dozens or hundreds of keyword campaigns is a tedious, time-consuming task; in addition, to the naked eye, it is difficult to see the trends and true ROI between your campaigns. Utilizing ZamDoo, all of this monitoring and analysis is automatically done for you, which leaves you with more time to focus on the overall internet marketing strategies for your business.

The more online marketing avenues you have, the more important it is for you to monitor all of them to effectively ascertain which ones are working best for your business strategy.

Stage III: Adjusting

After you have researched and monitored your internet marketing results, act swiftly to adjust to the information you receive. The quicker you can react to the internet marketplace, the better your profits will be. Dump marketing venues that are not giving you high ROI and instead focus on the keywords and campaigns that are working for your business strategy. ZamDoo provides you with real-time analysis on what is happening for your keywords, as well as your competitors' ads; thus, you can act quickly to the changes and increase your company's ROI and profit.

By planning, monitoring, and adjusting, you can effectively ensure that your online marketing strategies will optimize your overall business plan. Online marketing is powerful advertising avenues, but the diversity of its audience, changing results of interaction, and intricacies of its psychological tools require your attention to ensure that your message online is clearly branded with the one you have for your overall business plan.

Now that you have created your website, there is still one very important element that has to be added. To put it simply, the visitors to your website are looking for one thing - information. There may be some people on this Information Superhighway that are strictly shoppers. However, for the most part, people are seeking information.

If you happen to be selling a certain product, you need to have content that is relevant to it. You need to concentrate on building a large audience for your articles. This will translate into more sales, which means more profit for you. However, if your content is not written correctly or really has no meaning, then your potential customer will simply try to find another site that meets his or her needs.

If you have a flair for writing, then writing your own content may be something for you to think about. It will definitely save you money but probably not time. It takes time to write a very good and convincing article. If you find that you are not cut out for writing your own content or that you just do not have the time, you may want to think about hiring a freelance writer to work for you. You may also want to think about purchasing speech recognition software. This will greatly reduce the amount of time it takes to complete an article.

You may also want to consider purchasing Private Label Rights' or PLR articles. They can greatly enhance your website with excellent content. You can purchase these articles and then change them around to suit you and put your name to it. This is becoming a very hot selling item today.

You must also know that the content on your website has to be updated on a regular basis. You can write many articles all at once, but you just have to make sure that they are released on a regular basis. No one likes to see a website with stale content.

You must have good content to keep your visitors coming back to your website. Whether you write the content yourself or outsource the task fresh content is very important. As you can see, content is still King!

The mere thought of SEO is enough to send most webmasters into a flutter.  A good ranking in the search engines is a sure-fire way to make money from a website, yet it is not an easy task.  But while the exact ranking algorithm used by top search engines is one of the world's best kept secrets there are some basic principals you should always keep in mind:

1. Site Design

The structure of your site is important because this is how search engines see how each page relates to another.  When your site is spidered, the search engine will quickly be able to judge the relevance and quality of your site from the sitemap.

Creating a good site map involves naming pages using your top keywords, while at the same time ensuring you are giving it an accurate and succinct name.  Keyword spamming has penalties! Google's sitemap is a good example at

2. Optimize for your audience, not for the search engine.

Search engines prefer sites on a specific subject because specialized information is more beneficial to search engine users. So, for example, your site would have a better chance of ranking highly if it was dedicated specifically to lamp shades rather than home furnishings or lighting in general.  This is because someone searching for 'lamp shade' would be better satisfied with a website full of information specifically relating to lamp shades, rather than a general home furnishings site with only a paragraph or two dedicated to lamp shades.

Many sites have been successful by focusing solely on providing a website that meets the needs of their audience, rather than the needs of the search engines.  If possible, survey your users to find out what they want out of the site and if they have any suggestions.  The more you know about your audience, the better the design you'll be able to create.  Make it easy for visitors to interact on the site and for you to answer their questions too.

3. Label your internal text links and image alt tags

Why? The main reason is that search engine spiders can't read images. Anything without text means nothing to the spider.   Other benefits of labeling images include the ability for the image to be searchable in browsers such as Google Image search.  Image text also enables visibly impaired visitors to use your site more effectively and it helps to generally improve the text content of your page for search purposes. An image label is just a clear description of the image using keywords. Just don't include too many keywords in the alt text as there are penalties for keyword stuffing!

4. Update your site regularly

Your site ranking will be enhanced if the search engine spiders can see it is being updated frequently.  Aim to add new content at least once a week to create a living site. The more frequently Google has to come back to respider your site, the better you will rank. Pages that don't change will eventually be downgraded in favor of sites whose pages are fresher.

5. Link to Subject-related sites

Good quality backlinks are vital to SEO as these tell the search engine spiders that the site is popular and/or important.  Backlinks are links that are directed to your website from another site. Thus, linking to relevant sites is a great way to increase your search engine ranking.  If you can, try to implement circular linking, where the sites you link to also link to each other and back to you again.  For example, you link to Site A and Site B, who both link back to you and also link to each other.  The more clusters of links you can get like this, the more relevant your site will be deemed to be.

Did you realize that broken links can actually harm your search engine optimization?  If you set up a link, and your linking partner pulls that link in 6 months time, your ranking could reduce.  Thus it is critical to check your links regularly to ensure that you are being linked back to.

Search engine optimization is not something that can be done once and then left alone. It requires constant effort and attention.  The best way to keep up to date with new SEO developments is to continue read commentary and recent articles by SEO experts.
In general, remember that the top websites are always the ones people want to use, such as the BBC, eBay, Apple, and NASA.  If your main priority is creating the best website for your users, then you are on the right track.
